Welcome to San Diego!

OPENING RECEPTION
Join us on Sunday, May 3, 2009 from 6:30 - 8:30 PM at the AANS Opening Reception for our own Classic California Beach Party. San Diego – 'America's Finest City', is most commonly recognized for its idyllic climate, beautiful beaches and spectacular sunsets over the shimmering Pacific.

Tonight AANS guests will take it all in as they enter this energized and interactive event on San Diego's premier bayside venue, Embarcadero Park. Extending out onto San Diego Bay, this beautiful park provides a breathtaking backdrop incorporating the Coronado Bridge, nearby Seaport Village, the Naval and pleasure vessels that cruise our waters and the lights of the
San Diego skyline.

The upcoming exhibition at the San Diego Museum of Man will focus on the universality of this practice of skull surgery, the various methods and tools used to perform the surgery, and the reasons why the surgery is carried out.
